Llywelyn is a dual national of the U.S. and UK. He was born in London and raised in Wales, England, San Francisco and New York. He attended the London Academy of Performing Arts from 1990-1993. After graduation he found work in voice-overs for London's Capitol Radio, and later as a researcher for British ELLE Magazine. In 1998 his play Machiavelli's Handbag was produced in Los Angeles at the Gardner Stages. The following year his play LOVER ran at the Actor's Lab in Hollywood. In 2001 his screenplay ASYLUM DAYS was produced and taken to the Cannes Film Festival. It is currently running on the Showtime Network. In 2004 his screenplay THE OTHER TEAM won a national screenwriting competition. His original stage play BLACKOUT was successfully produced in St. Petersburg, March 2006. His new play ANATOMICALLY SPEAKING was a finalist for a play reading festival in Florida, summer 2007. Recently awarded Individual Artist Fellowship in the dicipline of playwriting/theater.
