I majored in Creative Writing in college (U. of I.- Chicago), and recently helped a friend in Australia polish two of her scripts...One of my neighbors--a published author--wants me to adapt one of her novels as a screenplay, and I am currently in the early stages of writing a Western titled 'Josie's Vigil.'

My father, Larry Boodry Sr., was a newspaperman, in his later years he was a columnist for The Desert Sun in Palm Springs. I like to think I got my talent for (and love of) writing from him.
