Jennifer picks up the phone and calls RODERICK SANDERSON, the hypnotherapist who Sarah referred to and makes an appointment to quit smoking. Jennifer meets with Dr. Sanderson at his office for the initial session. Dr. Sanderson discusses Jennifer's concerns about her sleeping and smoking and that she would like to quit smoking and sleep better at night. Dr. Sanderson agrees to assist Jennifer with these issues. Jennifer is assigned to a new case. A murderer is roaming free in the streets, leaving a trial of bizarre murders in their wake. With each crime scene discovered, she realizes that the murders are becoming more gruesome. Jennifer is in a race against time to find the killer, solve the case, and maintain her own sanity.
