When reporter Molly Greyson snags an interview with best selling author Art Chessman she is caught in the radar of Lucille Belzar, an evil witch posing as a glamorous agent. Art attempts to dissuade Molly, but she, a hard headed realist, refuses to believe the truth about Lucille and accepts the witch?s help in landing an important story. Covering the story Molly interviews a hostage taker on live TV and stands beside him as a police sniper shoots the criminal dead. Molly becomes an overnight sensation. When she attempts to bring an attorney into contract negotiations with Lucille, the witch become furious and Molly suffers a severe personal loss, which finally convinces her to accept the truth about Lucille.
