Emmy-Nominated Writers to Discuss Acclaimed Teleplays
 
WHAT:           Celebrating excellence in writing during the past television season, Sublime Primetime 2008 is an annual special evening where Emmy-nominated writers discuss their acclaimed teleplays and explore the craft of TV writing. Presented by the Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW), the Writers Guild Foundation, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, this panel event allows a unique opportunity to get behind-the-scenes insight straight from TV’s top writers.

WHO:             Sublime Primetime 2008 will feature several of this season’s Emmy-nominated writers, including Kirk Ellis (John Adams), Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies), Danny Strong (Recount), and Matthew Weiner & Robin Veith (Mad Men). Panel discussion moderated by Emmy-winning writer Larry Wilmore (The Office, The Bernie Mac Show, creator).

A dessert reception honoring this year’s Emmy-nominated writers will follow panel. Proceeds for this special event benefit the Writers Guild Foundation.
