The Latino Writers Lab Deadline Approaches
February 27, 2008—New York, NY John ContrubisNALIP is now accepting applications for its 2008 Latino Writers Lab™! In its 6th year, this unique Signature Program is designed for NALIP members who aspire to work as professional screenwriters, or who desire to develop a strong, viable screenplay for production or sale. The Lab includes skills development by professional instructors, direct mentoring of your work-in-progress by writer/mentors, and professional lunches on issues of relevance to writers.
Only 12-15 projects will be selected. The program is spread over two long weekends, one in spring and one in fall, this program is designed as an 8-day intensive workshop. The first four-day seminar will take place in Santa Fe, NM, May 7 - 11, 2008. All projects accepted to the Lab will be mentored, developed and rewritten during the summer, and be ready for the second four-day seminar in September in Santa Monica, CA!
