David Letterman In Talks With Writers Guild
Posted December 17, 2007 2:02 PM
David Letterman, through his company, Worldwide Pants, has taken the bold move of opening negotiations with the Writers Guild to reach an interim agreement, which would put his show back in business - no more reruns. In doing so, Letterman is breaking ranks with the AMPTP, which represents the major networks and studios. One has to wonder on the impact Letterman's decision will have on the greater negotiations. So far, it looks as though Jon Stewart is following his lead. Will others be far behind? Will the majors spank Dave when all is said and done? What's your opinion?
