Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE)

Founded in 1991 in Los Angeles, the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) is a non-profit organization, promoting diversity in the media arts and entertainment through educational programs that develop the next generation of Asian Pacific artists and leaders, and bridge intercultural understanding between Asian Pacifics and the community at large.

CAPE has become the leading forum for Asian Pacifics in feature film, television, video, publishing, music and other entertainment fields to share their common interests and concerns through such programs as screenings, panels, workshops and hosted conversations with notable executives and artists. CAPE established a New York Chapter in 1995.

With chapters in Los Angeles and New York, CAPE reaches thousands of studio and independent film executives, film and recording producers, publicists, below-the-line talent, actors, writers and directors. CAPE serves as one of the most important meeting places for Asian Pacific Americans in the entertainment industry. The executive board meets monthly.
